The Worker is the modern manifestation of The Daily Worker which was first published 1924. Published by the [[Party of Communists USA]] to provide news from a working class, communist, anti-imperialist and anti-fascist perspective. The slogan "Workers and Oppressed Peoples of the World Unite" is inspired by the famous quote by [[Karl Marx]], the addition of "Oppressed Peoples" being inspired by [[Workers World Party]]. The website is updated frequently and a print edition is distributed as well.
